Navigation 14.14 Types of Perks

Perks fit into 2 categories:

  • Artifacts; and,
  • Upgrades.

Artifacts come in 3 different types:

  • Weapons;
  • Passives; and,
  • Augments.
Artifacts

A new artifact or artifact level is acquired when a player levels up or picks up an Access Card.

Access Cards are dropped by Elite Monsters, Mini-Bosses and Bosses and are required to evolve Weapons.

Upgrades

Upgrades are permanent stat bonuses acquired outside of matches. To purchase upgrades, you must spend Gold, which is obtained by picking up coins during matches. They can be purchased from the menu of the same name found within the Swarm section of the client.
